1. Slide along the arrow
Drag a block the way its arrow points, or tap it: if the path is clear, it leaves the board.
A block with something in its way looks faded and will not move. Find the move that frees it first.
2. Into its container
The block goes to the container of its color. When a container holds 3 blocks, it leaves and the next container takes its place.
3. The tray
No matching container? The block waits in the tray. The tray has 5 spots: you see an orange warning at 4 and red at 5.
While the tray is full, a block with no matching container cannot leave, even if its path is clear. With no moves left, the level ends and you try again.
4. The next containers
The small chips to the right of the containers are the next containers: when one fills, the leftmost chip takes its place. Check them before you use the tray.
5. Points and stars
+10 for a block that goes straight into its container, +4 for one that goes through the tray. Clearing a level earns ★.
The bar fills as blocks go straight in: ★★ for using the tray at most 8 times, ★★★ for at most 3 (a little more on HARD levels).
HARD levels
Every few levels you meet a red HARD badge. These are a real challenge: use the tray carefully and watch the next containers.
The map and the worlds
Levels sit chapter by chapter on a map. Each world's own creatures wander across it: the greenhouse's butterflies, the harbor's gulls, the cafe's cats.
Blocks, containers and the map change in three worlds (Greenhouse, Harbor, Cat Cafe); you pick the world on the main menu.
Daily puzzle and weekly challenges
Challenges on the main menu holds the daily puzzle, the same for everyone, and weekly challenges. The daily puzzle gives you one ranked try a day; after that you can practice as much as you like.
Rankings and friend challenges work through Game Center: you need to be signed in to Game Center in your iPhone's Settings app. Every level is playable without it.
Settings and accessibility
Music, sound effects and haptics each have their own switch. Every color also has its own symbol (circle, lines, star, heart and more), so nothing depends on color alone.
Text follows your system size; on the game screens very large sizes are capped so the board stays readable.
